Are you looking for Infertility Signs?
Trying to conceive is a difficult process for many people. The reason is that there are many factors involved in conception. You cannot tell if you or your partner is infertile unless you visit a doctor. There are a number of medical tests that your doctor can perform to detect infertility. There are also methods and products that the doctor can prescribe to help in conceiving a child.
Cervical mucus testing is one procedure that a doctor can undertake. Cervical mucus is necessary for conception because it allows sperm to get all the way to the egg. If there is little or no cervical mucus, the sperm will be unable to do so. Another aspect to consider when it comes to cervical mucus is that it may be overly acidic. The presence of alkaline mucus is required. It will destroy the sperm before they reach the egg if it is acidic.
When a doctor examines cervical mucus, he or she will see if it is clear or curdled. There is little to no likelihood of conception if it is curdled. The odds of conception are good if the mucus is clear and little sticky.
Before you consider the prospect that you or your partner may be infertile, be sure you've had unprotected (natural method) sex for at least a few months, if not a year. Even for couples who do not have infertility issues, conception might take a long time. A couple may have unprotected intercourse for as long as 8 or 10 months before conceiving.
If you have given yourself this waiting period and have not yet conceived, see your doctor to find out what actions you should do next. Try not to be concerned; instead, concentrate on the numerous tests and procedures available to assist you and your partner in becoming parents to a lovely child.
